Open Day - 3rd October 2010

Upwaltham Barns’ first Open Day on Sunday 3rd October 2010 was a huge success. Couples new to Upwaltham Barns, and those who had already booked their wedding, mingled with a variety of exhibitors including wedding musicians, hair and beauty, wedding hats, wedding dresses, jewellers, a magician, vintage tableware, and stationary. As well as a fabulous selection of complimentary canapés and tea and coffee there was also a hog roast.

Splendid Days, a supplier commented "It was a lovely event and despite the rain a fun time was had by all. The barns looked stunning it’s a great setting and a wonderful spot for an event."

Couples were delighted to have the opportunity to meet with a variety of recommended suppliers, find out about their services and discuss wedding plans.

Bride-to-be, Kayleigh thought "the suppliers were tastefully picked and very current and different from the big fairs, which are sooo out of date! If I hadn’t already booked Upwaltham Barns for my wedding I would have signed on the dotted line there and then!"
