"After looking for months at different venues, thinking about going abroad and being disappointed with the lack of space or just the feeling of stuffy staff, we found Upwaltham Barns. As soon as we sat in the cottage and spoke to Tim he made us feel so welcome and said that whatever type of day we wanted would be our decision and not the 4 course dinner I felt was being forced upon us at the other venues.
We decided to have a carvery style lunch of roast pork and then chocolate wedding cake with berrys and cream. All this food did not stop the guests once the bucking bronco was started!
In the evening, just as everyone was starting to get peckish we had bacon, sausage and chip buttys which were served by Nibbles to Nosh. Every one helped make us feel so welcome.
Not being a bride that likes too much attention, I was surprised to say that we both wish we could do it all over again and all our family and friends said how lovely the Barns are and how much fun they had!"
