Gareth proposed to Sophie at Bodium Castle, East Sussex on Sophie's birthday, at the top of a turret on one knee.

Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex is about 40 minutes away from where Sophie & Gareth live. “We chose the venue as it was so beautiful and we it was such a blank canvas, we could decorate it with a million flowers. it was a really english country garden wedding with the table names being English counties. This worked so well as we had people from all over the world attending.”

Sophie wore a bespoke dress from Dolly Couture in the US and Gareth and the best men wore bespoke suits from John Lewis. Sophie's three Bridesmaids wore dresses that Sophie customised with netting from Dorothy Perkins with head peices that Sophie also made.

The main theme of the day was pink with lots and lots of flowers and bows everywhere; on the chairs, the dresses and the cake, which was from Marks and Spencer. They walked down a pink carpet and drank pink champagne. They also had giant garden games in the afternoon.

Sophie & gareth had a hog roast in the evening supplied by Chichester Catering Co. and the band were a funky, soul band called Oomph who Sophie & Gareth sang with in the evening. The furniture was supplied by Cameo Event Hire and the flowers and venue dressing was supplied by Jessica's Florist.
